Wait… You Really Don’t Know SPIRES?

Spires calls himself an abstract surface designer- that seems about right. Recently he had some work stolen by American Apparel. Between stealing Spires’ work and keeping Terry Richardson on as a photographer instead of in an iron box, it’s safe to say I will not be shopping at American Apparel. Anyway, here are some beautiful spirographs and psychedelic, geometric designs by the man himself.

Artist Peter Cook, grew this living garden chair using tree shaping methods, primarily training a living tree through constricting the direction of branch growth. The chair took about eight years to grow.
